SAT online conference & workshop series

Having presented the work with parental relationships as Bob Hoffman and Claudio Naranjo envisioned it, we will now expand our focus and include the family. Indeed, the primary triad – mother-father-child – is part of a family system that leaves us with much more than a family name and a biological heritage.

In the family system, we learn to relate to each other, to find an appropriate place that gives us a sense of belonging, love and acceptance. We often pay a high price for this, sacrificing a part of ourselves to reassure this love.
Similarly, we adopt from our family system the ethical and moral values that the family upholds. These are guidelines which will often determine our path in life. It is our “family tree” that passes on to us, from one generation to the next, secrets, taboos, failures but also achievements.
